As we approach the two month mark of shelter-in-place, we’ve been seeing an (understandable) resurgence of stress, sleep disorders, digestive issues, sluggish energy and other symptoms of inflammation in our patients and loved ones. What are essential oils?
Inside many plants – hidden deep within roots, seeds, flowers, and bark – are concentrated, highly potent compounds. These natural compounds are essential oils.
How can I benefit from essential oils?
Similar to herbal therapies, essential oils are soothing, toning, and grounding, while others are energizing, warming and renewing. The variety of essential oils allows you to naturally and effectively maintain health and address specific concerns. For varying effects, oils can be applied topically, aromatically, and even ingested and yes, many oils are safe during pregnancy and with children!
